The new 100% Swiss team started this weekend in the European Le Mans Series.

The crew composed of Esteban Garcia and David Droux wanted to be real challengers in this LMP3 category. The NORMA M30 car N. 9 operated by the GRAFF Team performed the first and second best lap times of the free practice 1 and 2. After completing the fourth fastest lap time of the qualifying session, David Droux first took the wheel in the race. The driver did not waste time quickly being P3 after overtaking the Oregon Team N. 10 car. After 20 minutes on the track, the M30 car was P2. Realteam Racing became leader of the category after one hour of race. Esteban Garcia took the wheel at mid-race, he came out of the pit lane P4. For his first ELMS race, the Bronze driver fought in this very high level category to be part of the best teams. Leading for a while, a last pit stop within 40 minutes of the checkered flag put the Team to the fifth position.
The car finally crossed the finish line in seventh position of the LMP3 category. Next European Le Mans Series meeting on May 12th in Monza!

« I’m very happy with my first stint, we even took the lead. The car was very good. It was good to be able to fight for the win after a qualifying session that could have been better. I was happy to bring the car back to Esteban P2. I am also very happy with his performance on the track for his first race in ELMS. A project like this takes time to build and we have a lot of room for improvement. This is a very good omen for the rest of the championship! » -David Droux

« David did a fantastic job! Le Castellet is an excellent circuit to start the championship, Finishing in 7th position at 54 seconds of the leader, it is still necessary to work hard to become stronger… In Monza perhaps! » – Esteban Garcia
